FintechXpndr is a collaboration between Braithwate & HM, two leading compliance consultancies based in the UK and Singapore.
We have a long-standing partnership, working together to help fintech, crypto and digital asset firms expand internationally, get licensed and establish operations in the UK, European, Asian and US markets.
We launched FintechXpndr to support the initiatives of the UK-Singapore FinTech Bridge, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the UK and Singapore governments, established with the aim of boosting trade and growth in the Fintech sectors in both countries.
UK - Singapore FinTech Bridge
The UK and Singapore are two of the world's most dynamic and innovative fintech markets, acting as hubs for the wider European and Asian markets. They are also recognised as two leading jurisdictions globally in fintech investments.
On 25 November 2022, the UK and Singapore agreed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the UK-Singapore FinTech Bridge , established with the aim of removing barriers to trade and boost collaboration between the fintech sectors in the two countries.
The FinTech Bridge builds on an agreement signed in 2016 – which will remove barriers to fintech trade by opening new regular talks between regulators and businesses, in addition to previous areas of cooperation.
Braithwate and HM recognise the immense potential in the UK and Singapore fintech markets and the opportunities for international expansion and seek to help firms overcome the challenges in expanding to a new jurisdiction. This is why we developed FintechXpndr.
